Jandson Homes Looking to the Future with Confidence

The recent announcement of an administrator being appointed to Beechwood Homes has created a high level of anxiety for many new home buyers. Beechwood Homes has been a major builder in New South Wales for many years and we hope that satisfactory arrangements can be made for their clients and staff.

The past year has been very difficult for the housing industry with both a continued downturn in sales and wet weather causing delays in construction. Poor sales have also led to price cutting and giveaways by some builders which in the longer run are not sustainable. Jandson Homes, having been in business for over 20 years, has traded through two previous downturns. We anticipated this downturn and made the necessary cost cutting and financial planning decisions early in the downturn.

Whilst Jandson Homes has also been affected by these external factors, our assets have not been significantly affected and other companies within the Jandson Group have continued to trade profitably. Jandson Homes has recently opened new display homes at Ropes Crossing and will shortly open two new displays at The Ponds near Kellyville. We also have substantial contracts with the Australian Government to provide housing for the Defence Force.

We believe that the Reserve Bank has reached the peak of the interest rate cycle which combined with the planned release of significant new land developments over the next 12 months should result in a considerable improvement in sales for the housing industry over the next 12 months.

You can be confident that you are dealing with people who are committed, knowledgeable, resourceful and innovative; a team dedicated to completing your home in full satisfaction of your expectations.
